Wednesday Fellowship Programs
Rock the World
Kindergarten - 4th grade
Wednesdays @ 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.
3:00-5:00 p.m. Open House:
Children arrive at any time and choose how they’d like to spend their time (games, arts & crafts, playground time, snacks, special projects, and more). Giving kids a chance to unwind and spend time with their friends in a casual setting is part of making sure Shadow Rock stays a safe place for kids to relax and be themselves!
5:00 p.m. Large Group Time:
Everyone comes together for mission work or other special projects, or do some team-building games.
5:30 p.m. Music:
Children's Music Coordinator Dana Bender leads the Gemstones Children's Choir practice. The Gemstones perform in church at least once a month.
6:00 p.m. Pick-up:
In the choir room
Alterntaive Rocks (Alt. Rocks)
5th & 6th grades

The Alt. Rocks spend the last pert of their day together working with their parents to further themselves and their group in the areas of personal growth, mission, fellowship, and stewardship.

Kids’ Kapers
Kids’ Kapers are enrichment classes offered by the Children’s Education Team for preschool-aged children. These classes are held in five or six week sessions and meet once a week. During each session, preschoolers can choose from fun classes such as sign language, science, cooking, art, pet care, gardening, and much, much more! Classes are most days from 12:30 until 1:30. You do not need to be a preschooler at Shadow Rock Preschool to attend. Contact Abeth Spencer for current class offerings and more information.
Upcoming Special Children’s Events:
- No Rock the World or Alternative Rocks on March 21st due to Spring Break.
- The 2nd Annual Egg-cellent sleepover will be March 31st – April 1st (Palm Sunday weekend).
- The Easter Egg Hunt will be Easter Sunday morning @ 9:00 a.m.
- Earth Day is April 22nd, and the children will be a part of the celebration at Shadow Rock! Don’t miss it!
- May 16th is the last Rock the World and Alternative Rocks night until the Fall.
