Family Promise
As one of the founding members of this consortium, Shadow Rock unites with other congregations to provide safe shelter, nutritious meals, and compassionate assistance for homeless families.

A Stepping Stone Foundation
Imaged and brought to life by Shadow Rock, A Stepping Stone Foundation provides free, superb early childhood education with mandatory adult literacy and parental involvement components that promote school, community and life-long success for children and their families that would not otherwise have access to such programs.

Humane Borders
Working through this established organization, Shadow Rock is responsible for maintaining five of the water stations in Southern Arizona. These stations, identified by a blue flag, provide life giving water to those caught in the treachery of the Arizona desert.

Chris Becker Dining Hall
The first Tuesday and the third Wednesday of each month Shadow Rock serves food to the hungry and homeless.

Rebuilding Together
Shadow Rock was the first faith community in Arizona to join this nation wide effort. Volunteers gather on a Saturday in April to renovate and refurbish owner occupied homes and community centers.

Desert Mission
A number of special opportunities to contribute food for the holidays are promoted each year as well as ongoing donations of clothing and food.

Refugee Relocation
Shadow Rock assists people relocating to Phoenix under the United States State Departments Refugee Program. In addition to financial support, assistance may include household furnishings, food and being available to help the family in whatever way as they rebuild their lives.

No More Deaths
Shadow Rock has been involved since this organizations inception.  No More Deaths provides humanitarian aide to those crossing the desert or being returned to their homeland.

A number of special opportunities to share occur throughout the year:  Blanket Drive for homeless shelters; youth canning project for a local food bank; Souper Bowl raises funds to alleviate hunger; Clothes Silo Youth Project; ongoing lending of medical equipment and donating eyeglasses; helping troubled travelers through the Airport Chaplaincy and meeting emergency needs through our Communion Offering and Pastors' Discretionary Fund.  Shadow Rock also participates through several special offerings through the United Church of Christ
