50th Anniversary Art Show
Shadow Rock United Church of Christ is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with a Golden Celebration of Community Art Show & Sale. This art show will feature artists from the Southwest, many of whom share a connection with Shadow Rock UCC and the Moon Valley area.
In addition to the art show, there will be an interactive event for young artists and families to do together the day of the kick off.
One of the featured local artists is Barbara Bayless Lacy, whose large Southwestern oil paintings depict Arizona’s missions, rivers, and valleys in brilliant tones and spectacular hues. Barbara Lacy has been chosen by the Paradise Valley Arts Board to be the featured artist at Paradise Valley Town Hall for 2024. Also showing art will be Jan McLaughlin, Brett Morrison, Adrienne Pagel, Sandy Bonstelle, and many more!
The kickoff art show and sale is November 18th, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and will feature live music, wine, appetizers, and refreshments for families. We welcome you to come out and view the art, meet the artists, enjoy the gorgeous surroundings, participate as a family in creating artwork together, and maybe even bring home a work of art. The art is available for viewing November 19, 26, and December 3, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Contact information for artists will also be available.
