What’s New: Week of April 23, 2017

This Week: Our Work is Not Done! There’s a lot going on post-Easter at Shadow Rock!

Your Top Three
the top three things on your radar this week, direct from Sunday’s Nuggets!

1. Estate Giving Workshop:  “Leaving A Legacy”
The Shadow Rock Foundation Programming Team presents a 2-hour workshop April 30th after church.  Sign up in the office or on the Board in the Education Building. Financial, historical, and memorial topics will be discussed in depth. See the insert in today’s bulletin for more information.

2. Sunday School Teachers Needed
We’re in the final stretch of Sunday School classes before our July Sabbath, and we need teachers! The last two units are “Pointed Intentionally to the Future” and “Playing and Cooperation.” Teaching is fun and easy – stop by the Plug-In Board in the parlor to claim your dates. Please speak to Karen for more information about teaching.

3. Photography Gallery in the Narthex
We invite you to the opening of “Moments: Photography and Spirituality” in the narthex of the sanctuary today. These pictures were taken by the participants in this spring’s class on the spirituality of photography. There’s a brief description next to the photos, giving context and background to the works. Please enjoy the gallery and applaud the members of our congregation who shared their photos with us!
