The spread of the COVID-19 virus is prompting many important discussions about public health and safety, the state of our healthcare system in America, emergency response scenarios, and much more. The explosion of media coverage and information spread on social media has been hard to keep up with at times. It’s easy to be consumed by anxiety and fear, and we want to reassure you that you are not alone, and we will take care of each other the way we always have – as a family.

The leadership of Shadow Rock has decided to close the Shadow Rock Campus for all events, effective at noon on Friday, March 13th. Closing the campus was not a decision reached lightly. But in the end, it was agreed that preemptive measures to stop the spread of the virus should be taken seriously. It’s not a choice made out of fear, but one made in love. We can do this small thing to help protect our campus partners. We can do this small thing to help protect our community. We can do this small thing for love of one another.
